Materials
The outer, printed layer, ear loops, and edges of the printed masks are made from 100% polyester.

The inner layer is made from 100% cotton.

Filters are made from multiple layers of 100% polyester, activated carbon, and non-woven meltblown polyester.

The earloops use a silicon bead slider.

Wash & Care
Printed masks are reusable and should be washed with medium-low heat, then line dried to prevent shrinking.
Filters are not reusable and should not be washed.

Orders are shipped on a first come first serve basis from either our warehouse outside of Scranton, Pennsylvania or from San Bernardino, California.

The PM in PM2.5 refers to particulate matter, also known as particle pollution. This term describes extremely small solid particles and liquid droplets suspended in air.

The 2.5 refers to the 2.5 micron measurement (and smaller) of particles that these filters are designed to capture. These PM2.5 particles are so small they can get inhaled deep into the lungs and absorbed into the bloodstream.

While our mask contains a PM2.5 filter, this mask is not intended fully filter out all particles smaller than 2.5 microns that you may encounter.

Compatible with PM2.5 Filter

2.5 microns is pretty darn small — less than a third of a human hair! The included PM2.5 filter can handle particles that tiny. Even with daily use, the filters are effective in filtering out PM2.5 for up to a week thanks to the multi-layered non-woven fabric construction and activated carbon layer.

Meltblown Triple Filter Layer
Melt blowing is a conventional way of making micro- and nanofibers. Unlike traditionally woven fibers, the melt blowing process weaves an intricate web for filtering gas and air.


Activated Carbon Layer

Activated carbon is an incredibly porous surface that is used in gas filtration to trap oil vapors, odors, and other hydrocarbons from the air.

Non-Woven Fabric

Nonwoven fabrics provide a myriad of specific functions  including filtration, use as a bacterial barrier, and sterility. This is why non-woven fabrics are commonly found in hospital-grade materials.

The CDC has recommended that everyone wear face coverings in public settings, like pharmacies and grocery stores, to slow the spread of the virus and to avoid unwittingly spreading the virus asymptomatically. The CDC director even stated that face masks may offer more protection than a vaccine. Long story short, cloth face coverings help you and your loved ones stay safe.
